01/07/2012   NDSCA Winter Meeting

The North Dakota Sporting Clays Association Winter Meeting will be held at the Chieftain Conference Center in Carrington, ND on January 14 at 9:00 AM.   All NSCA members are welcome to attend.


01/07/2012   NSCA Level I and II Intructor's Course

Capital City Sporting Clays will be hosting two NSCA Intructors course this spring.  The Level I course will be held on April 27-29 for Beginning Instructors, and the Level II program will be held on May 4-6 for Intermediate Instructors.  These courses are limited to12 students so reserve your spot as soon as possible.  Contact Mark Sandness for program details and fees.

06/05/2011   U.S. Open Results

Congratulations to a couple of our ND boys that did very well at the US open. Scott Mc Leod ended up in 6th place in the Main Event. Also Ben Jensen lit it up at the US open with 10 punches in 4 different events. This now moved Scott Mc Leod to AA class and Ben to Master class. A huge accomplishment for them in the sporting clays tournament of tournaments!


Bismarck (05/11/11): Level I NSCA Instructor Course

Gary Greenway, NSCA Chief and Level III Instructor, and Mark Sandness a NSCA Level II Instructor, hosted a Level I Certification Training Course at the Capital City Sporting Clays Club in Bismarck.

Students sucessfully completing the course included: Myron Brager, Michael E. Collings, Gregory J. LaHaise, Darin MacDonald, Tim Morrell, David G. Mott, Richard Nordgren, and Charles Wittenberg.

 Congratulations to the students on their successful completion of the NSCA Level 1 Instructor Course. They are to be commended for their commitment to instructing our youth as well as their dedication to sporting clays in the state of North Dakota.

In Grand Forks. the Scholastic Clays Target Program as well as the Grand Forks County 4-H Program is excited to add both Mike and Greg to our growing list of youth instructors.
